FAQ about masternodes (GMN/MN):

How many Walton do I need?

5000 or more in a single wallet.

I have 10,000+ Walton. Should I keep them in a single wallet or multiple wallets of at least 5000?

Splitting your holdings to wallets of at least 5000 will give you a larger return vs one large wallet as you will have multiple nodes running instead of a single node.

Will my coins stake with an offline wallet?

Unsure. Waltonchain Masternodes will be based on a POS + POW platform requiring online nodes. But not much is public about non Masternode mining/staking.

What are the hardware/software requirements?

Unknown at the moment.

How will I exchange my current erc20 tokens to Walton Tokens?

Unknown at the moment.

When will the genesis block/Walton blockchain/Wallet/Parent Chain be released?

Most likely sometime in Q1. Public beta started in December 2017, so stay tuned for more info.

What is the difference between a Guardian Masternode vs a normal Masternode?

Guardian Masternodes will be given a lower mining difficulty and higher rewards

What if I don’t have enough for a Masternode before the December 10th deadline, but I still want a masternode?

You can still get a Masternode. Your rewards will be based on seniority, so the sooner you are able to get one the better.

How can I earn even more rewards with my Masternode?

Masternodes will be rated based on performance and reliability (uptime) which can lead to a higher level of rewards.
